AP Shield + 2017 CIAS
What an awesome experience it was to be a part of this years Canadian International Auto Show, the largest show of its kind in Canada. The record breaking attendance drew in more than 360,000 people, giving us the opportunity to showcase our work and products we carry. Needless to say, we met many people who we are pleased to call friends and clients. Thank you to everyone who made it out to see us at the booth.
Vehicle Survival Package
On display at our booth, we had a rare yellow on yellow 2003 Acura NSX, powered by a polished Gruppe-M Supercharger, sporting all the NSX-R aero, and sitting pretty on Advan Racing wheels. We wrapped this banana yellow NA2 from bumper to bumper in Hexis BodyFence Paint Protection Film. Many visitors at our booth, even when inspecting the vehicle, couldn't believe the car was protected! We then coated the PPF, interior, engine and wheels with CeramicPro. Windshield Protection Film was then applied on the exterior of the windscreen, to protect the low sitting car from chips and pitting of the glass.
The 2017 CIAS was a blast, but what made it better was the our good friends from Engineered Automotive had their booth right beside us! Engineered Automotive, located in Concord, Ontario, is the ultimate one-stop-shop that serves the GTA. We have nothing but fantastic things to say about the quality of work, caliber of vehicles and most importantly, the knowledgable and super friendly staff. As seen above, Norb and Corey had a race with these hoverboard karts.... needless to say EA won this round, as Norb accidentally destroyed the track. Also from the EA team, we have to give a huge shout out to Dave Tomessetti (IG: @djdavelive) who was spinning some wicked house music throughout the show. Check out some of his sets here.
We're all gear heads at AP Shield
The passion for cars is what got us into this trade, so its no surprise we all enjoyed the Auto Show. The 2017 CIAS had countless concept cars, new vehicles hitting the dealerships, dream cars, F1 cars and much more!!! There is just too much to list, and that's when it kicked in.... What an amazing experience it was to be a part of the show, hats off to the CIAS management team to putting together such an organized and pleasant event.
